You will not find a better location in the Rio Grande Valley. We are located about a mile off Hi-way 83 in a quiet relaxed country setting. Literally 'just down the road' are: The World Birding Center, The World Butterfly Center, Rio Grande Valley State Park, and Mission Hike and Bike Trail at the Birding Center. Within five miles are nationally branded stores, golf courses, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The nationally ranked Mission Regional Medical Center is minutes from our doorstep.

Our sites are TEXAS SIZED. If you can drive it or pull it you can park it here. AmeriCana is constantly improving and upgrading our facilities. We recently converted to a healthier salt water pool system. AmeriCana is a gated and secured 55+ RV - Park Model - Mobile Home Community. We offer free Wi-fi in the club house. Cable and high speed internet are available at many sites through local purveyors. We have shaded, semi shaded and open lots to meet any budget. There is a variety of vegetation including live oaks, palms, mesquite, hackberry and an assortment of tropical fruit trees. Something is always in bloom at AmeriCana. Each year our flock of green parrots seems to grow and grow! Dr. Herbert & Kristin Edwards who own 2.5 acres contingent to the northwest corner of the park have opened this wooded refuge for Birdwatching in memory of her father Clifford Harley. They return each year to care for the preserve and invite your volunteerism in maintaining this refuge.
